Bishop James Knox

James M. Knox is the son of the late Rev R.L. and Mary Knox.
Pastor Knox is the youngest of his three brothers and one sister.
He grew up in Fairview Baptist Church-Lavonia being involved in
different ministries with his family. Being in such a Household of
Faith gave him a love for God and set him up to meet his call to
ministry.

Pastor Knox truly has a heart for God’s people and is focused on
Kingdom building. Since being at Crossroads, the Church has
seen growth in membership and birth new ministries.

Crossroads is seeing lives changed under the anointed

preaching and leadership of God’s appointed man servant. The
Church building itself has been renovated and plans are in the
works for a Family Life Center. Under the leadership of Pastor
Knox the body of Christ is truly moving from the ordinary to the
extraordinary.

He attended the Franklin County School System. In 1995, he was an honor graduate and then went on to graduate from Mars Hill College with honors in 1999 with a degree in Political Science. There he found his love of the Law and was inspired to pursue his education further. With a lot of prayer and perseverance, Pastor Knox graduated from the University of Georgia-School of Law in 2002 with a Jurist Doctorate. He currently is employed with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision as General Counsel.

Pastor Knox is married to the former Sonia Hunter. They share together three wonderful children Jameshia, Jamarion, Hunter and one beautiful grand-daughter named Austyn.
